Health Care Connect

As an integral part of its mission, this Health Care Industry Partnership is dedicated to the recruitment and retention of health care workers. Workforce development and training is recognized as a fundamental component of employee retention. Health Care Connect offers a number of workshops throughout the year in key areas vital to health care organizations as identified by the partnership members.

Health Care Connect is an initiative of the Chester County Workforce Development Board and the Chester County Economic Development Council with grant funds received from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Industry Partnerships bring together multiple employers and other key partners in the same industry to identify and address common workforce needs.

Since its kick-off meeting in December, 2007, the Chester County Health Care Industry Partnership has grown to include more than 60 organizations, including hospitals, continuing care facilities, acute rehabilitation facilities, educational institutions, and county development offices. Health Care Connect is a network of industry professionals with an emphasis on employee retention, recruiting and attraction as well as skilling up todays available workforce.
